Being Me

I am made, formed to be myself; I was never made to be anyone else. He deliberately made me my present complexion, stature, beauty, intelligence, and age. I was a finished work before Heplacedme in my mother’s womb. I could not have been ready if He did not deem me ready. He said to me ‘everything I made was good including you’. So I asked who am I to falter or question who I have become?
It is time we stopped seeking validation from friends, spouse, children, and colleagues to become who God has created us to be. You need to break forth from that cocoon of self-doubt, only know what you can and cannot do. You do not need to wait for anyone to cajole you into becoming a better version of yourself.
You better know who you are, you better meet your self officially. Allowing people’s impression of who you are precede your own impression of your self is murder. You crucify yourself after every negative comment by another person. You judge yourself, you accuse yourself of being worthless, you plead guilty of those accusations, and then you sentence yourself to life imprisonment by telling yourself countless time that you are not worth it.
If you do not start loving yourself, praising yourself, admiring yourself, wooing yourself soon you will begin to lose sight of who you really are. The world is full of thorns in human nature that is stationed to choke out the self-love off you. They are out to rob off their frustration on others, to achieve that they need to make people feel lost and unworthy of life through their words. All you need do is learn to dust off words, block your ears from unpleasant compliments, walk away from happiness draining conversations, shut down your listening factory from negative words.
Always be you. That is exactly what the world loves. They do not just show it at first, they just need to know that you know who you really are.
