The advent of technology in Nigeria was followed by a lot of bad habits, first, it was the blackberry-ping it, today we have a lot of them WhatsApp, google chat, telegram, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. I wake up every morning and the first thing I relate with is my phone, checking to see if I have missed a message, at night when I use the bathroom I check my phone. Before I knew it I had spent hours doing nothing but chatting away my time.
There are a number of activities that set the pace for the day including our future which is very critical to achieving success. Reading about and listening to great men and women, I noticed they all say the same thing about achieving and sustaining success.
What are the daily routines that set the pace for the day, for tomorrow and the future; how you start your morning, how you use the phrase “I am”, how you enjoy yourself, or decide to be happy. To live a great life, you should set your mornings at high tempo, create a routine that builds your mind, set your positivity button at maximum, say “ thank you to the giver of Life, for health, for peace, for love, for air to breathe- Gratitude.
Set your goals for the day, identify all you need to do, how you want to touch people’s lives positively, set the targets for your life goals.
Clear your mind of all negativity, remove all yesterday’s problems and bad encounters, delete grudge, and make space for positive thoughts. Exercise your body to get maximum functionality, it sets your brain at optimal efficiency.
Make a decision on how you want to treat others, decide to let go even when you do not think they deserve it, show love to those who have hurt you, walk away from people who stifle your joy, refuse to allow bitterness rent a space in your heart. Constantly purge your heart of every offense, avoid giving and taking offenses. Open your day with words that elevate your essence, use the strongest phase on earth with the utmost sense of consciousness- “ I am”, refrain from saying “I can not” say “ I can”. Every morning I say I am happy, strong, healthy, successful, prosperous, focused, disciplined, blessed, loved, victorious, saved by grace, lifted, beautiful, special, talented, valuable. Then launch into the day with high spirit, flying with wings of greatness, feel elated in your body and spirit, feel unstoppable, raise your head high, and say to your morning- I am born to win.
